itchy bum

Im after some advice. I know there is probably threads on this already but would like fresh advice.

My tb has recently started bum rubbing. My vet ruled out pin worm as showed no symptoms other than the itching. He put it down to loosing his coat and gave me shampoo to use. This hasnt stopped him as 3 days ago he started rubbing again. Last night he rubbed so hard he pulled a bit of skin off. Its roughly in the cheek area midway down.

Does anyone have any thoughts or should i get vet out again? Thanks

You can do a sellotape test and send it to westgate labs to check for pinworm eggs... Lots don't get any other symptoms, as often the only visible one is when you can actually see the goo the eggs are in deposited on their bum, but this doesn't always happen.

Sticky side of sticky tape pressed against the bum then folded in on itself to protect whatever's on it, sent off to westgate
