Those of you with who have had itchy animals and had successfully treated what was the cause for yours?

We have a dog that is continually itching himself. He doesn’t have fleas (vet confirmed) and need him now checked out whether has an allergy to some foods / dust mites

Allergies to;
Chicken, Turkey, venison, beef, rabbit, lamb, white fish, tuna, all tested grains, all dairy, potatoe, sweet potatoe, dust mites storage mites,, some grasses and pollens.

Of the things she was tested for I think that's it but I may have forgotten some.

Most common meat allergen is chicken, I think. Can you do an elimination diet, so no chicken for 2 weeks, then no beef etc? Is there a fish option for Forthglade?

It is one of the more common ones yes, an exclusion diet is more effective the other way round ( because many animals ate allergic to more than one thing) so you would put the dog on a food such as purina hypoallergenic and nothing else for 10-12 weeks amd introduce one protein source at a time, say give chicken alongside the purina for 10-12 weeks.
Obviously if the dig reacts before the 12 weeks are up then you go back to just purina for 12 weeks to allow there's system to complete clear and allergens and you start again.
It is very long winded and that is why so many people choose to do the allergy test so they at least get a starting point.

how long have you fed forthglade wet? does this tie in with itching. Mine is itching a lot. I used to feed raw chicken with no problem then she got mouth cancer so I started cooking the chicken and she seems to have started itching. I too checked for fleas. Forthglade do a chicken one are you using that? I am now removing the chicken and I think I will have success. (from what I have tried and observed) I read on another site about raw chicken not causing a problem but cooking it did and forthglade wet is cooked I believe.
