Hi all I'm new on here
My parents have 4 cavaliers ( 1 of each colour!) and they have all been scratching like mad recently, they have been combed through thoroughly and no sign of fleas, they have regular flea treatments. They took to the vet who said it prob to do with the heat and harvesting, but since then it has been cooler and harvesting is now finished around here.
They were fed on "the natural dog food company" but she has recently taken them back to completely raw diet now to see if this helps.
My dog who she looks after during day us not itchy and also fed on the natural dog food co.
Also someone said to bathe them with apple cider vinegar??
Any ideas much welcome, sorry it's so long!!

If it is all four I would be looking at external causes.
Could be as simple as a carpet shampoo.
You have to think when it started and what changes have been made in the household and any area the dogs go.
Have they had any flea or worm treatments?

Yes it is all 4 but 2 are worse than others, nothing has changed, they have wooden floor, so no carpet anywhere and all bedding washed in fairy, same as before, they are frontlined regulary, and worming all up to date

Hi They were all doing this last year, but this year its worse. They are not scratching as much, but are still scratching. So much they were pulling lumps out of their coat. The bald patches (you have to look for) are not sore or inflamed or red. I have bathed them in Apple Cider vinegar and they have a few drops with their food. I think it has worked to some degree, but has not stopped. We are surrounded by fields which has just been harvested. There is also a lot of dogs at dog training, scratching. We dont use any chemicals in our garden. Thanks in advance for any replies
