Hi

A few friends at the yard have recommended that i use the above on my mares itchy feathers. It says on the box that its very poisonous for cats and the lady in the shop seemed concerned that i was using it on my horse. Can anyone advise as the lady in the shop has got me worried, it was just a small pet shop. Thanks

I personally wouldn't touch the stuff (when i say that, i mean ANY BM product on ANY animal. A. because they don't do what they're supposed to and B. because some animals seem to have horrific reactions to the stuff). I've heard many horror stories. Use the Frontline spray instead. :) Is it for mites/lice? Are there any cuts/scabs? If so, don't use frontline! Only use it if it's for confirmed lice/mites :)

I wouldn't be using it, I used it by mistake on my cat once and it made her very ill, so stick to using horse products only.

Frontline spray every 10 days x 3 treatments. Then use pig oil and sulphur, pm me with an email address and I will send you the huge note I do on the care of hairy legged horses which is very long, but hopefully also very useful to those with them.
