My 7 year old German Shepard is really itchy, you only to pat him on his back and he starts scratching

We put him on feedmarks K9-Shine as that was supposed to help with sensitive itchy skin but no luck. he's been bathed in special itchy shampoos but no luck. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced these problems??

Your best bet is to change his diet, think about moving him onto senior food.

My 9 year old GSD has bad skin, I wash him in baby shampoo and use an aloe vera conditioner afterwards, and it is good for him.

Also eggs, chicken and fish are good things to mix in the dinner to help towards a good coat and easier digestion.

My lot love raw eggs and natural yoghurt, my dog still gets bad skin from time to time (especially when changing from summer to winter coat and vice versa), but its nothing like before

Hi thanks for the advice, he is already on a very strict diet due to an illness he has. he's not allowed to eat meat as this makes his condition worse. he does love his raw eggs too though! I'll give your baby shampoo and aloe vera a go to see if that helps.

My lot love tomato ketchup in their dinner!!!! Im serious, it was a friend who told me her dog loved it and she heard it from loads of people.

So tried mine with a little and they wolfed their dinner down lol.

I would also avoid treats that are processed, mine get pigs ears, tripe etc, or the james wellbeloved treats as they are natural
