Jerry has been quite itchy since February. I first took him off Alpha-A oil as I thought that might be causing it. He was a bit better but still rubbing sometimes so I put that down to him either being warm in his rug or because he is losing his winter coat.
However he is still rubbing his mane and his face and so is his stable companion now.
We had the vet out today to look at them both. She couldn't see any lice and she didn't think it was sweet-itch as it was unlikely that they would both develop it at the same time when neither horse has been affected by it before.
She has taken some scrapes to examine and left some hibiscrub for us to bath them both.
Anyone any suggestions?
Has anyone tried the Naf D-itch?
Thanks.
