Usually Dectomax injections from the vet will clear them, but you could try Frontline spray.
Hmm interesting seems worse after washing legs but didnt know if its because i have washed them or just because he is in for me to see what he is doingThe bane of my life!
I do have to treat for mites but water seems to set mine off - its some form of dermatitis. We've got lots of mud fever type infections on our yard as well so if the usual mite stuff doesn't work then look at antibacterial or antifungal washes.
