Itchy Pony

I have a little Sec A that is self harming! Itchy beyond itchy! Had vet who gave me Switch. Said pony was allergic to something but couldnt guess at what. So used switch, have deloused, kept him in where he cant scratch (he does it till he bleeds).
I am now going out to bath him with Hibiscrub as this is not getting better! One question, after bathing with Hibiscrub does it have to be rinsed off with clean water?

Duh!! Of course its rinsed off. It foams (I phoned the surgery)

Yes - sounds more like sweet itch which is an allergy really to midge bites. I use Biteback sweet relief cream or lotion everyday to stop the reaction - its def the best thing on the market so far. I've started to spray my little one evry day - evening is the best before dusk when the midges are at their worst.
