As above really i have even checked for lice no he does not have any, i did actually think he could be over heating with the mild weather as his coat is very thick.
He is on a lami type diet due to cushings however i do put in a drop of cod liver oil in his bucket i found this helps with his itchyness.
Is there a supplement that would help with his skin and coat he does seem to have two coats the waterproof top coat then a fluffy wooly coat under that. He does not rub himself sore or bald and he does not rub in the summer it really does seem to be a winter itch.

Yes i will admit although i never found anything because he is a weird wishy washy palomino/dun colour you cannot see the blighters so i have put some powder on just in case.
He is having to live alone at the moment because of all the grass we had this year he can see and touch my nf gelding but they cannot groom each other do you think he does it because of no horses grooming him (no it won,t be that) or could it oh i dont know , just thinking out loud.
Hopfully he will be going back with his buddy soon as i hate to seperate them for too long as they are firm friends until the buckets arrive.

Try Kevin Bacon Active Soap - reduces itchyness. Certainly worked for my boy's sweetitch, although it isn't designed specifically for sweetitch, just to help reduce skin conditions and itchyness.
