A while ago I posted a thread on here ref my Border Terrier X boy who has suffered once again with poor skin, despite so many attempts at changing feed, supplements, veterinary drugs etc. Well, touch wood, methinks (and has fingers and toes crossed) that we have solved the problem, for now, at least.

So, for those of you with canines prone to poor skin, red, itchy, sore, here is our remedy

Ditch all dried food - swap to Naturediet Sensitive Gold
Supplements : Salmon oil & Seaweed powder
4mg piriton (once a day although through the winter we are going to try without it)
Also ditch all 'regular' dog treats and replace with 100% natural.

It genuinely has worked for us, and whilst all dogs are different, the improvements were so good I wanted to share this.
Said dog thinks he is in heaven with the salmon oil, but have had to start giving our other terrier some too (1/2 tspoon) so he doesnt feel left out on the smelling-like-a-fish factor.
