Itchy youngster with scurfy/scabby skin?

as per the title really my yearling filly lives out 24/7 when we got her last year she had a little rainscald which I got to clear up nicely and she has been fine until the past two weeks when she has been itching and itching I have looked closely and cant find any lice but her skin is really flaky and she is really itchy what can be causing it and what should I do to treat it?

Ive heard codlivine helps with itchy scaley skin.It cured one of the mares on our yard before my time there but have heard about benefits.

Aloe vera gel is really good for this, I swear by it, really gentle on the skin. I get mine from Holland and Barratts as much cheaper than horsey sites!

A bath with some kind of sensitive skin shampoo or something might help her feel a bit less itchy as well..

For those of you feeding linseed oil, what dosage do you give? Chloe is still scurfy and it would be nice to get on top of it!

OP, I bathe mine with Melaseb or Dermoline Shampoo to help her scurf. She loves the scratching with the plastic brush I use to lift the scurf!
