. I lost mickey over 6months ago, and have still not found a suitable loan/share....
---- i am looking for a possible loan like this "not any futher than 20mins away, between 14.1-16hh, i dont mind naughtiness (sp) as i am not novice, and can do as many jobs etc round the yard as the person wants, and could contribute a small amount of money" theres just nothing around.

Just looking out the window today has made me really want to go out for a nice long off road hack, but sadly i have no horse.

Is it normal for a loan/share to take so long to come up?
Has anyone else had this problem???

i haven't put notices up. But everyone around where i live who is horsey knows i am looking...

i was thinking of putting one up in the local tack shop though- just havent got round to it.

Have you tried an ad in Freeads? (is it still called that?) I got two previous sharers from ads in there.

Move to leicester, we have a lovely mare wanting a rider.....!!

Why is it everyone looking is always far away from the horse or vice versa?!?
 
Awww it's a shame that you are not nearer to me (yorkshire is very far away!) because we have one horse on our yard up for part loan and one whose owner would be happy for someone to help muck out in return for rides. The part loan has just put a board outside the yard, so maybe driving round to some local yards might be an option.
