Its criminal to make me sit inside at work today....

I can't watch the video as im at work, but I do agree it is absolutely gutting being stuck in an office when the sun is out!!!

It is even more painful after such a lovely weekend!

Here here! I am sulking big time 😞
My hack was also lovely yesterday too!

Meh i'm off to work at half 11
BUT You've just reminded me I have some videos to put on youtube later of Paddy and the ponies!!:D

I was up early and on horseback by 6.30am this morning, had the whole world to ourselves as we hacked along droves and field margins, the early day sun already warm over us, clear blue sky, yellow oilseed rape fields in full bloom, birds singing and rabbits boinging.

Back home, had brekkie in the garden while watching the recently fledged blackbird clan (3 youngsters) who must be half-chicken as they much prefer scratching on theground and sunbathing to flying, and their parents are still feeding them too.

Then a lovely 10 mile cycle ride to work along the traffic-free smoothly tarmacked guided bus bridleway.

So yep, being indoors for rest of day is a bind but I had a lovely start to today and as one of my colleagues said "you lucky thing, having your own horse and being able to go riding each day before you come to work."

Lucky yes. Take it for granted, never.

Too true. Two lovely hacks at the weekend on a friend's horse have brought back my riding mojo so am champing at the bit to get out there again.

So have got my tack and hat in the car for later - might have time for a quick walk out with one of the oldies tonight before his tea. Only a few mins, but then he has been out of work for a while, so bringing him back very slowly owing to his advancing years

Phwore! There's some beautiful pics. I should get myself together to ride in the mornings but I'm itching to get out for my evening ride. Aren't we a lucky lot :D.

Can you not get out before work, we took full advantage of the lovely morning and headed out at 6am :)

I sometimes do hack out before work...but we have to ride for someway before hitting bridleways and roadwork just isn't the same :(

If I hack in the evening I can go further and reach the good off-road hacking. In the mornings its just a quick trot round the village as otherwise I don't have enough time to get to work for 8.20am
