Belle and I just had our first ever mad bronking session in a lesson... it's fair to say she's feeling lively. There was no malice in it, she was just somewhat exciteable through the entire lesson (we achieved...er...nothing?) and she greatly enjoyed steamtraining down the sides of the school.

Is anyone else having fun times with a lively horse at the moment? I am pleased with myself for sitting to it, though I guess it was nothing overly dramatic, and I think it's fair to say we'll be cutting her food out completely!

yes!! this morning popped up to have a jump in the school got on trotted off straight away! not like that at all when i ride! i then had to stuggle to keep her in a nice collected trot and walk and then the first time i asked for a nice collected canter legs in the air me 5ft out the saddle head down bucking and broncing then a very nice collected canter, did that for a while when asked for a nice canter then approaching a jump head up ears pricked forward canter and jump with an added buck, only did about 30 mins but came out dripping with sweat :/ silly horses in the end its only more work for them!!

Blimey, I'm glad I'm not the only one!

To top it off... I cried out of frustration whilst trying to poultice Inca's foot due to an abscess. She was an absolute *insert something horrible here* and I really thought I might get kicked in the head. It's been a while since a horse made me cry! She was fine when we did it this morning but this evening she was the naughtiest I have ever seen her, I dread doing it tomorrow. :(
