It's Freezing!!!!

Oh My God!!!!

I've just been out at lunchtime to go to Tesco's and it's bloody freezing out there. According to the car it's 6.5oC. It's also pi$$ing down with rain and blowing a gale.

I guess we're having to pay for the good summer

Its really cold and horrid here too and the shock is that its changed so fast!!

Was only a couple of weeks ago when we were still having 16 degrees during the day time and then it just seemed to change over night

It was really cold here this morning, about 7 I think.

But it is nice now, lovely and sunny and still!! It has been raining all week though!

15 miles west of Aberdeen, so pretty far north.

A couple of mornings last week we had a ground frost but TBH it felt warmer than this because it was dry and bright. Today it's wet, windy and dark. Ponies are not going to be amused being out in this (despite being wrapped up in warm rugs).

Lovely and sunny here down in Suffolk. I had a nice ride this morning in the school and for once it was perfect weather for me to back home!!

Yes it is cold here too but managed to get out for a ride in the sun this morning...but it is raining again now!

I can confirm that Scotland was particularly chilly as I was up there Monday to Wednesday.

Its cold,wet and grey up here in the north east of scotland. Been raining all day not as bad as last night. That one more pair of socks going then!!!!!!

We lost power a few times last night. We lost STV about 6 then later on lost everything. I was out in the gales last night at the horses it wasn't very nice. I thought that I would find the yard in bits this moning but everything was ok, just a few trees down and the field was flooded but that nothing new for us, living next to the mouth of the river spey!!! Think we were very lucky when you see what happend up north.
