He's celebrating being a whole year old by having a long run out this morning and we've been round to the shop bit of work and he's picked himself some presents (one of which is in peices already and my office looks like it's snowed) and he's now chasing his Boomer Ball up and down the corridor.
Thankfully no one else in the building is in yet, otherwise I think they'd be getting rather annoyed - he does tend to sound like a small elephant and the ball isn't the quietest either, when it smacks into woodwork/doors/radiators/his head....
Can't believe he's a year old now - in the last couple of weeks he's really shaken off his puppy features and now he looks like a Proper Dog. Hopefully soon he'll behave like one!
And as an extra birthday present for him(!) when we move back home, he's being booked in for neutering. At one point his breeders kept enquiring about using him as a stud dog but I've decided that as his recall with other dogs is rubbish (although being worked on!) it's not a great idea. And he's my puppy - I want him to be a puppy forever! :freak:
(Should be home in 3 or 4 weeks I hope - we had to move out due to building work being done on our house and then OHs mum died incredibly unexpectedly the night before we moved in so things have been somewhat fraught for the last 8.5 weeks. So I don't think it's fair having it done while emotions are still....high (now his dad has finished lambing it seems to have hit him now) and there's a JRT there who despises Herman and takes any chance he can to worry at him.)
