Hey it's snowing here in West Scotland. And just wanted to use my new name LOL.

Ahh, but snow is so much nicer than the usual rain we get here. As long as it doesn't get too deep to get to the horses, but deep enough to not be able to get to work.

I don't know if it's the same in Scotland but as soon as there is a sprinkling of snow here the schools shut, the buses and trains stop running and my car refuses to go up the hill to the yard

I think it is to spread from West to East overnight, so you never know.

The last bad winter we had, not once did I fail to get to the horses, or work......The car has snowchains should they be needed!
A small flurry and the masses are running for the local garage to buy milk and bread by the trolley load!

My work rarely shuts because of the weather tbh- they expect you to walk if your within a 5 mile radius....which I would understand if my job was essential... But it's not. Humph

No snow, thanks! It took us 10 (yes 10) hours to get home from work last time (usually 40 minute journey)!

Our muddy rutted gateways were frozen like concrete this morning. Preferable to sliding around in the mud,I guess:-/ Didn't enjoy frozen hands after breaking the inch-thick ice off the troughs tho.

Yes its lying here too, after the very wet weather and then everthing frozen for much of last week, as long as we don't get too much it will be a nice change and make it feel more like Christmas. And I just changed my name today before it started. Maybe I should change it to Lazing in the Sun instead.

Oh yes, let it snow!! If it is going to do it, it has to be proper snow - couple of feet of the white stuff would do it. Selfishly, I have a Landrover so getting around would be OK but work would be shut down - he he!!

Looked at weather forecast and it looks like we might have a touch of bad weather around the 17th of the month. They said that this recent cold snap was just the mild starter to what might be coming - gave a 70% chance of it happening!
