I've got to get passports sorted out for the two boys (going with SHB) but I'm stuck for names - they are certainly not going down as Freddy or Harry, that's for sure!

I'd like something short and snappy for both of them. The sires aren't registered as stallions so can't/don't want to use their names.

Freddy is an in your face, lager lout type of guy while Harry is meek and mild (so far) butter wouldn't melt in his mouth type.

So far, we have come up with Flintoff for Freddy as he has a lot to say for himself. There is also Favour, Fortune, Frazzle, Fanfare, Falstaff. Would like to keep to 'F's' for him but not a dire necessity at all.

For Harry we have a much better selection of 'H's'! There's Havoc, Hazard, Herald, Handsel, Hickory and Hamster. I wouldn't mind calling him Meade either as he's quite handsome!

I did think of calling one Havoc, the other Hazard at one time!

If you've got any thoughts would be glad to hear them, I'm rubbish with names and many heads are better than one - usually!

They're both bay colts, by TB's out of cob mares of unknown breeding. Would think by what I know of them so far (they're nearly 7 weeks old) Freddy would be a decent competitive or hunting type; Harry is quieter and better put together so possibly showing of some sort; all depends who buys them what they will do!

Freddie is harder because I think he needs something that reflects his personality. What TB stallion did you use on the mares?

I like your thinking but think I'd have to get permission to use his name from FF himself.
Could always use Fred Flintstone and you can all start calling me Wilma!

No you wouldn't, not if you just registered him as Flintoff and used Freddy as a stable name. Catherston Springsteen's stable name is Bruce and there are a few others like that too!
