The second since March/lockdown, etc. I did ride once, but having going for just a mile (good) and turn back (jig jog, pull, prance, prat) I decided to do it differently today. Had set of shoes on, and the abscessed foot was fine, no pain so that is a good starting point.

So I went on a circular ride, no turning back today! Just at walk, but it was nice to be out and I think he thought so too. Trouble is, my breeches were defintely tighter than they were, and I feel quite tired out.

I'm another loving being back in the saddle. Rose kept her fitness better than me though and I'm so glad I had some help bringing her back into work as I'd really started to believe I was TOO old. My breeches aren't tight but I do find my chest feels a little bit tight, def need to up my fitness!

It's a great feeling to get back in the saddle after such a long break!

I've ridden three days in the past seven, and riding again tomorrow. Just one hour lessons in the arena, but it feels so good to back onboard.
