Went to have a second look at a little mare I liked, been a few weeks since I first saw her. Thought it was all an informality, just go over her with a finer tooth comb, put down a deposit and get her details to sort out vetting and insurance....but it was a disaster.
Cracking horse, but she just wasn't for me.
So we went to have a cup of tea before we headed back home and another horse they have was mentioned, I had heard about her as a friend had tried her out a few weeks ago. So they went and got her in and in came a plain looking wee horse, watched a kid ride and thought she was ok, then watched my instructor and wow!!!! For the first time since loosing my lad I desperately wanted to ride. I got on and click....she was fantastic. so soft, pushing through from behind, floating under you but a real power with it. Asker for canter and nearly shot out the back door with the sheer energy that she came through with. When I rode well she went well, but if I gave a sloppy aid or moved my hand she let me know. I grinned like a fool the entire time I was on her.......So I bought her......so excited!!!!!!
