To get Oscar in at 10.30 all this week.

Hes now out for 2 hours a day this week and coz my sister and I work, Dad offered to get him in. He came down at the weekend and had a couple of run throughs which went fine but either my sister or I were there.

I know everything will be fine coz Oscar is such a good boy and all he has to do is stick him in his stable but my heart will be in my mouth until Dad txts to say all went well.

I know exactly what you mean. I always feel the same when I ask mum to get the horses in when I'm not there - and my girls are always well behaved - but I still worry about it!!

Its almost like role reversal - parents spend years worrying about their kiddies - and now its our turn to worry about our parents!! LOL!
 
Yeah exactly! Oscar is such a good boy and I trust him with dad but my dad is getting on, bless him, and I just worry - wont settle till hes called to say hes in his stable safe and sound

I don't think I would ask my mum or dad, or brothers for that matter to go anywhere near horses! They are not horsey at all, my mum is about 5ft tall, so my fear would that she would get trampled! My dad has no idea and neither do my brothers.

I think you are very brave to ask your dad to do that! and i can understand your worry
 
I had a couple of ponys when I was younger and he used to help out a bit so he isnt clueless in fact he thinks hes Dr Dolittle and talks to Oscar all the time!

That's brilliant news. You will be happier that Oscar is having some more time out and it will be doing him so much good. I am sure your dad will be fine. You are lucky that OScar is so good and well behaved.

One of the girls was watching him lead him in and said he was as good as gold. I love my horse - and my daddy
