Today I put the horsey up for sale after fannying around about it since december, today I finally did it!
It's taken me 3 months to get my head around selling her, god knows what i'm going to be like when she actually goes :rolleyes:

sorry for the pointless post :D

Well done you - I don't know your reasons for selling, but just keep them in the front of your mind at all times and it should help.
I am going to advertise mine next week, she's at a local SJ's yard at the mo having some training after I feel off and broke my neck on her at the end of November last year. I've bred her myself and she's now nearly six - will be really upsetting, but I have to keep telling myself that I'm doing it for all the right reasons.
Hope you find a lovely owner for her.

a few reasons really;
She's too small ( :( )
She has alot of potential (prob eventing) but XC petrifies me
I'm not experianced enough to bring her on
& i'm pregnant ( triplets !!!!! :eek: ) so having a horse really isn't ideal

Thank you!

Louiseb - hope you find your's a lovely home aswell !!

Congratulations on the pregnancy!!!

And keep thinking of all the time you'll have to enjoy your babies without feeling guilty for the time you not spending with the horse.

You can always go back- I'm just coming back into horse ownership after a break to have my 2 daughters (one at a time though ;))and I appreciate my 'horse time' so much more now.

Good luck with everything :)

Well you've certainly got some good reasons there - congratulations! And I'm guessing that these babies are VERY much wanted and long awaited, so of course you want to give as much time as possible to them.
Just think, though, if you find a competitive home for her you'll be able to follow her progress.
