After careful thought over the past two months I have made the decision to find a new home for my baby girl due to my illness as I won't have the energy to exercise two horses, neither one being suitable for my very novice hubby. He has always wanted a horse of his own, a safe steady type that he can hack out on a couple of times a week so we now have a plan, find a new home for Emma and look for one for hubby, it would also be a companion for Pheobe. Just wondered if you lot thought it a good idea to maybe advertise Emma for sale with the possiblity of swap/part ex for a suitable hack? I didn't know if this would attract the wrong type of buyers for Emma. Your thoughts please.
Thanks

I must admit it would put me off being a prospective buyer as my thoughts would be ' if they are selling one and then they want something safe and sensible px then i would definitely think that the horse has behavioural issues or something not right with the horse, sorry but im being honest, as im looking now and have seen ads like that and i stay clear. x

I agree. think you ought just to seel outright... It would make your mare sound like a nutter!

Is Emma a green youngster? She might be good for a teenager who has had a safe horse to learn on and would now like either something to work on and bring on, or something to compete on.

There might be people out there who would love this kind of arrangement, so it would be worth mentioning in an ad. But you would have to be really careful about it all.

It wouldn't put me off, and wouldnt make me think she was nuts. And even if i did, i would likely not be bothered.
