Ive just agreed to judge on Sunday

At a local show, i think there are 7 classes, like prettiest bitch, handsome dog, scruffiest dog, dog judge would like to take home!! etc etc
Oh my what have I done......... Any tips (im worried about making kids cry by not choosing their dog)

Last time I entered my dogs (at a greyhound rescue show) the judge was our vet - he ignored our stunning lurcher

and put up all the kids and all the attractive nubile young women

I would just go with your instinct, you arent going to be able to make everyone happy, so just smile a lot at everyone and tell them all how lovely their dogs are

Well it would work for me if I were entered

Good luck! At the last show I went to there were 30 in the prettiest bitch category and easily 50+ in the 'Dog the judge would like to take home' category. They were only dishing out 5 rosettes. Not an easy job
