I've just bought a Haflinger........................

As a follow up to my posts last week (that I can't find), I went back to see the Haflinger gelding with wife and sons. I can only walk and trot and am buying him to learn on, so OH and 11 year old rode him as well as me to really give him a work out. They loved him so we went for it.

He comes with nothing so OH can't wait to go shopping.

Aim to pick him up this weekend, give him a week or two to settle and get to know the rest of the herd, then it's off we go.

Then on Sunday both sons rode their new ponies in a cross country for the first time and both went clear. New ponies looked sensational and got many comments.

Weekends don't get much better.
