Oh Yes! It really does pay to pursue these things!
I took advantage of their ticket offer for pre booked tickets for the Friday "buy 2 get 3rd FREE". The Free ticket was stated as "Combined tickets may be purchased which allow entry to the daytime shopping and the Evening Gala."
The tickets arrived, I had a little check to see if they were for the correct show but I didn't check the tickets properly until the morning of the event only to find that they had only sent me one ticket gaining me free entrance to the evening performance only? The Free ticket for entrance to the daytime wasnt there
A friend and I had pre decided to give the "Free" ticket to another friend who was strapped for cash so it was bit of a blow when she ended up paying £18 to get in during the day, even this was wrong because Friday had been advertised as £15 on the door.
Anyway, on the Monday I emailed Your Horse to complain about it and asked for a refund for my friend.
They replied saying...quote "Unfortunately it musty have been a typing error in your original communication as the price has always been £18 on the gate for Friday. I'm not sure if this may have been confused with the £15 in advance price for Saturday. However I am sorry that you felt cheated."
I knew that I was right so I copied & pasted my evidence of their offer from the ticket factory, and guess what...
I received an apology and they said they would refund my £18!!
I received the cheque in this mornings post!!!! RESULT!!!
