I could live with all the broken bones she cost me, because I just love her so, so much. She is perfection on 4 legs to me!! The thought of losing her; of never having our happy times in the saddle together again, is just breaking my heart....

I know she will be sensible and settled at the vet hospital, because she is such a happy go lucky, brave girl, but I am so troubled after leaving her tonight....

Pictures, because I'm crying over them....

I spent over a year, with a check list, searching for my dream horse, and I found her, and more - she is a dream come true. How can this happen to her at only 8 years old.......

I'm so sorry, I hope it works out even if it isn't looking too good right now. Fingers crossed for her. Your photos are lovely and you look so happy together.

She looks a fantastic horse! I hope everything works out for you. It's awful when you have to hand them over to the vet because there's nothing else you can do yourself, it makes you feel so helpless but you know she's in the best hands.

Wishing you all the luck in the world.

Oh Puppy ive just read your post in SB, what a shock for you! Least she is in the best place and fingers crossed they might be able to help xx ((((hugs))))

She is beautiful - grey mares are the best. I hope that it turns out to be better news than you think at the vet hospital and your lovely girl comes sound.

Again I am so sorry, she is such a beautiful horse no wonder she is your dream horse. Those are some lovley pictures of her.
I have my fingers crossed for you both.

Such beautiful girl. Chin up.

It may just be my vet practice but on the several occasions recently when either I or friends on the yard have had vets out (mercifully for minor problems) they always start with the worst case scenario and work their way round to a much happier situation. This has resulted in an awful lot of tears before the vet's even made a proper assessment! I do hope this is the case for you.

But if the news is not good for her future ridden career, could you possibly have a foal from her? She looks like she'd make a wonderful mother.

Everything crossed that all is not as bad as it looks. xx
