I've sold a horse!!!

I've just sold Fabulous to his loanee of 2 and a half years for the princely sum of £1!! Bargainous if you ask me - he's an advanced eventer, Medium dressage horse, and has over £300 BSJA

. Very happy, she's promised never to sell him, just to shoot him if he deteriorates. He's on holiday at the moment, enjoying wallowing in the large muddy puddle in his field (I'd forgotten he did that til she mentioned it!)

Just wanted a symbolic sum, to feel she'd bought him rather than I'd given him to her, if that makes sense! There'll be a pound taped to my xmas card apparently! He's getting to the age where it would be very difficult to find somewhere for him if she did send him back.
