Just as it’s been through it’s plating the indicators on my box have stopped working.

When you either put the indicators on or the hazards it’s just one long continuous beep and none of the indicators come on. The light on the dash for the indicator comes on but doesn’t flash as it did before it stopped working.

I’ve been told it’s likely the hazard button that needs replacing which I’ve done but still no joy.

I’ve also been told now it could be the flasher unit. Does anyone know where this is on an Iveco cargo? And any idea of the cost of replacing it if it is this.

I’ve checked the fuse and that seems fine.

Will get a mechanic to look at it if I can’t figure it out but after spending ££ to just get it through it’s plating could do with trying to sort it myself!

Many thanks to anyone who can help or any suggestions x

Firstly please tell us which model, engine size and year your Iveco Chassis cab is?
It could be the flasher unit or it may be an electrical wiring issue. i.e. a short circuit or dampness in one of the lighting units or even a faulty bulb.
A competent commercial vehicle auto-electrician should be able to sort it out in a jiff!

I don't know about Ivecos but many vehicles indicators operate through a relay, which can often be found in the fuse box. It may have seized in a stuck on position, or jammed, or corroded.
