Has anyone driven the older version of the Iveco vans e.g about s reg or t reg???? I believe the gears are the opposite way around to normal ones so how did you find them?? Are they easy to drive???

A friends' got a VW LT35 and that's got an 'upsidedown gear box'. It wouldn't be too bad if the gears weren't so stiff.
Getting it into 1st gear initially is a bit confusing, but you soon get used to it

Ive got an extremely old Ford Cargo and the gear box is upside down, but it doesn't bother me and it is easy to use. However I never use 1st gear I always pull off in 2nd, so the gears seem the right way round then if that makes sense. (just to add, I don't pull off in 2nd for that reason! It is because 1st gear is pretty pointless)
