Jack and cast update

Well Jack has now been at Liphook for two weeks. They put a cast on, Monday before last, to try and immobilise the joint to allow the wound to heal. It was due to come off next Monday, but the poor boy finally managed to lie down last night and couldn't get up again, so they had to cut the cast off!

They've put a dressing back on, but will monitor him over the next day or two to see if this has been a set back and he needs another cast (and to stay at Liphook even longer).

The wound isn't quite healed, and with him being able to move the joint it may reopen.

This is him last weekend with the cast

and the weekend before with just the dressing

and being spoilt with polos (I don't normally feed them to him!)

Liphook are being great, they're ringing or texting me most days, even though there's no news (apart from today), but I'm really missing him during the week, as I can only get there to see him at weekends. Apparently all the staff there love him though

If he doesn't need another cast, he may come back home on Monday - please keep your fingers crossed!
