Jack has been clipped out! what do you think?

Its so hot in sunny scotland that i decided to hog and clip Jacks hairy heels and see if he would look really smart. heres the before and after shots- Friends say he looks like a different horse.

Definatly looks like a different horse and very smart! I like him hairy, just my opinion but then i am the hairy horse type. Recon he feels much more comfortable minus all the hair though.

He looks very dapper!, then again he was handsome as a hairy beast also, but yeah definately a smart clean look, he carries the hog look off really well too, which I bet you were glad about, think of all that grooming time you'll save too!

i have just taken of my boys heels, helps him to be a little less itchy.

He looks so different from when he was hairy in your picture to when he was clipped out, a completly different horse

Handsome cob, black with white markings is always smart.
Don't know whether I prefer him clipped out or with full hairyness, though....looks good both ways.

OMG!!! I wouldn't have the guts to do that to my boy. Hate to say it but i prefer him hairy. Can see why you did it though in this heat with the old ichy srtchies. he is still handsome
