Are they recognised by the kennel club these days? Not like a parsons jack russell, just your bog standard jrt. Having a change from showing ponies tomorrow and going to a little dog show with the springers and the jrt. Would I look silly putting the jrt in the small pedigree class? Apart from veterans I don't know what else to enter her in.
 
I entered our JR (non parsons) in the local hunt show JR classes - someone pointed out that he was a JR cross (short legged, "Queen Anne table type front legs) - I was embarressed - won the JR coss class tho!!
 
There's a JRT Club of GB for the traditional short legged type, but on the whole the KC wont register them as they vary too much to conform to a standard
