jack russells hormones

we have a beautiful 10 month old jack russell bitch ,just recently she has changed her behaviour has become sexually interested in our female labrador ,but has become whiny at night which shes never been and generally more noisy. is this likely to be related. any ideas

Sounds plausible, can't really comment as have only had JR dogs and he was neutered at 10 months, so he didn't really have chance to get hormonal!!!

i thought same sex humping ect was more to do with dominance than anything sexual

What about Jack russells speyed females humping cushions.
Mine does it from time to time
