I am fed up with not being able to find a tweed jacket to fit me - I seem to have the wrong size chest and very long arms! I have a jacket that does in that I can fit it on and it is tweed but the shape is dreadful. I really have searched and searched for a solution but am now wondering if it is possible to get my current jacket altered - longer sleeves, pockets moved down, tummy altered (button moving might do) so that it does not stick right out OR get one made for me. BUT I don't want to pay truckload of money (OH would be cross) so I was wondering if anyone else had had any of these things done?

And just to show you what I mean! I am definitely fat - BUT not that fat out front and my shirt keeps sticking out of my cuffs

Ach I have the same problem with long arms, it is VERY frustrating

The only jacket I could find that was long enough in the arms for me was a Pikeur (talking black jacket here, still cannot find a tweed I am happy with). Mine is like yours too, hangs off my boobs and makes me look far bigger than I am - tis a nightmare

I liked the look of them but there is nowhere near me that stocks them and the internet stockist generally only carry jods, which I don't have a problem with.
