I know you were going back to vet on Thursday/Friday for another injection. Is there is improvement in her pain or mobility? Just been thinking off her as we have had to book my mum to come down and dog sit as Keisha just can't manage the caravan any longer, we're going away over Halloween.

Hi Wendy. Thanks for asking. She has her 4th injection on Thursday. I must be honest I was beginning to despair, but the last couple of days have seen a slight improvement. She is still very stiff but she is weight bearing now and is using the leg more than she has done for a month. Last night she positively charged up the stairs which put a smile on my face, for the past month she has been doing a sort of running hop.
I doubt we will ever do the hiking/backbacking thing which I am truly gutted about. But she is improving and thats what I am focussing on at the moment, however shortlived.
Thank you for asking.
Have a great Halloween.

That is great news, I think when she starts to run about herself she certainly must be feeling a bit better. Once you get her over the winter and on a good supplement/medication routine she may well be improved enough for you smaller hikes and days out. I think if you find her level of pain free activites you will be able to plan more... Great news, I'm really pleased for both of you..
