How sad, but what a wonderfully refreshing attitude for the parents to have. As a parent I cannot imagine the grief they must be suffering, but to hear positive words and getures (air ambulance collection),is so inspirational and is such a change to more recent cases where parents are threatening to sue etc and seem to be consumed with blaming rather than acepting their tragic loss and celebrating what they had.
I agree, what a family, to be able to handle their grief, the way the seem to have done, must make this awful situation easier somehow.
And it has always touched a special nerve in me, when a horse with empty saddle or no saddle, have followed a coffin.
Accorind to thie article, the horse that followed her coffin was her old pony, Ruairi Rua, the horse that was involved in the accident was her 16hh horse called Jaffa. So nice to see they are raising money for the Air Ambulance as well, some good coming out of such a tragedy. My heart goes out to her parents xx
