Firstly, thank you for your replies on my previous post - very helpful.
I am pleased to report Jake is back to his normal stoooopid self
We have re-visited the exact walk, twice now ... NOTHING!
We did manage to identify one change in the area, the house nearby have rescued a cat and it has been out wandering this week. Still, if said cat is happy to wander into an open fronted barn with 15 dogs barking and spitting at it - maybe i should be scared of it myself?!



I called the vets and explained the situation and that he is now bright as a button - said to keep an eye on him and bring him up immediately should anything happen again.
Started this years training with his last night
complete loonatic and was literally squealing with excitement when he saw the training bag
