Not tried it but if you're thinking of that you might as well use valerian

I used it on a horse on box rest for the 'controlled' walking stage, was the only calmer that helped, and I tried a lot. The one morning i forgot I got bronced off :rolleyes3: I used whatever the suggested dose was, about 1 hour before walking

I've used it on a young stressy horse for travelling and it worked great. I just used the recommended dose but I always started to feed it a day or two before taking her anywhere so it was built up in her system. She's so used to travelling calmly now that I no longer give her it. James harts valerian is defo the best one to use, I tried others but none has the effect this one did.
