Only using this horse related example as I just spotted it on the news page and I know lots of people have their sentences reduced for all sorts of different crimes...including murder...but genuinely I just would like someone on here who might know how the law and sentences work to explain how they curtail them and on what basis? And why as a judge set a sentence of 8 months if they just then do 3? Is it based on things like their conduct whilst in prison, etc? I don't get how the law works sometimes...

Either way this lame example of a man should NEVER be able to own another animal again for the rest of his life, He should be put on a shark infested island and left to fend for himself with murders,child molesters and other criminals and left to rot. Bring back hanging thats what i say... Makes me so angry.... Can you tell...
