Just wondered if anyone here is planning on entering the JAS competitions after xmas ?

The seasons only just over but im already bored and planning ahead for next year.
We're doing Hartpury and Hand. and possibly West Wilts..

Might do it on my older horse on a ticket but my other horse is totally unsuitable for it as he is so big and ungainly! I would go to the Hand but it is blooming expensive. The Hand will be lovely now as so much bigger!

i will be taking spider to do the Intro and whatever other i have to probably do the intro as well or what ever it is capable off! will be going to towerlands, that is the only place i am near

I was going to take the ginger one to do the intro and PN at medstead, but i dont think we will be ready so im crossing my fingers and toes that Fiddler will be fit and well enough to go and we could do the intro and there's a small chance maybe the PN aswell

I'm hoping to do both the Medstead ones at least...also want to do grasshoppers and some dates clash but yes, hoping to do a PN to start and then maybe a novice

Probably not, wasn't too impressed last year (expensive and we didn't really get any meaningful feedback - just a couple of lines that stated the blooming obvious).

Probably just going to BSJA to keep me entertained through the winter - cheaper to enter and a better chance of actually winning something!

Think I agree with you there, I worked out it would cost me about £100 before diesel to enter two horses in two classes, and to be honest they don't stand much chance in an arena that crammed with fences!
