I was really pleased to have found a paddock I can keep both my horses together, no stables but they can both live out, they'd got on well when they met previously, I popped my mare in the field with the boy, gave them both a fuss and a carrot, watched for a while, when they were settled I left
Went up this morning, both started walking to the gate when they saw me, but then the mare turned and walked away, when I started towards the mare, he chased her off, bit her rug and ripped it, I've never seen him like that with any other horse, they're fine when I'm not there, but he won't let her near me and kept trying to block me from leaving
Any suggestions? Apart from investing in lots of hot tape and separating them, which I'm going to need to do if I want to feed her
