We have two horses (thoroughbreads), however, one of them has injured her leg and cannot be ridden or exercised for the next few months. However, when Kate, her owner, tries to ride the other horse, the injured one goes absolutely beserk, tries to attack the other horse, or launches into a crazy gallop. To prevent her injuring herself, I have to keep her on the lead all the time the other horse is ridden, and feed her tidbits, but that's hardly practical. Does anyone have some helpful ideas?

Don't ride the horse in the field with the other one? Or leave the injured one in it's stable whilst the other is exercised?
