jeep cherokee

Yes I have one, Towing is not a problem , I tow with an Iw 510 box , with 2 horses in it no problem ... It drives like a car when your not towing as in , its got abit of poke with it , nice and comfy .

I love mine x

I soooooo miss my Jeep Grand Cherokee - wish I had bought another rather than an RR

Mine was petrol and went like sh*t off a shovel - great to drive and I always felt safe in it (except when I lost control in the ice and rolled it through a hedge

Teach me to have a petrol version

Seriously though, I am more than likely going to trade my RR in for another one - I don't feel half as stable in the RR, it rolls around corners and TBH worries me

I have a 2.5lt petrol version (rare) which gives me plenty of pulling power for towing without the huge running costs.
parts are expensive but mine has only needed a new cat, water pump and a timing belt in 106,0000 miles.
Love it. Now have a lorry but still kept the cherokee

i am looking to get a trailer (as a back up for when the lorry decides not to play) so need something just to tow a trailer and run up the yard in to keep it ticking over. im a courier so need to keep my car to do that as i dont think id even entertain the idea of running round the countryside start stopping all the time in a 4x4!

I have a 2.7 ltr CRD Jeep Grand Cherokee, has done 80,000 miles without any repairs needed. But it has extremely poor fuel econonmy, even when not towing it only gets about 25mpg combined. It is exceptionally good at towing and off road, you hardly notice you are towing at all, it has so much power. Its easy to drive and quite high so you get a good view. But the fuel economy is so poor I have another car for normal driving and am aiming to get a horsebox. I actually wonder if there might be somethign wrong with the fuel pump of my Jeep as it does this juddery thing just after starting and the fuel economy is so bad...
