Sorry, I know these kind of questions get asked all the time and I've used the search function, but I wanted to ask...

1) What range do you typically get from a tank of petrol? (4L petrol auto pref)

2) Any problems opening the back door of the older model when hooked up to an Ifor Williams 510 trailer?

3) I've seen some with the spare wheel on the back door rather than in the boot... can I do this?

Thank you very much :)

Well my OH has one and am surprised you can afford to tow with one. We found it not as good as my very old Range Rover, in fact he perfers the RR,also the back brakes on Jeep keep binding, must admit I love the interior, but that's about all. It shall be going very soon.

We've a 3.1L diesel Jeep Grand Cherokee and get just under 20miles per gallon when towing our two large (and heavy) horses in an Equi-trek Space Trekka L

Great to tow with but I'm certain other 4x4 would be more economical for towing. Love the comfort of the interior but the Jeep is expensive to fix when goes wrong and brakes a continual issue. Had no problems with the back door but our spare wheel is under the boot floor.

I have one that I use just for towing, I get about 18 mpg while towing a trailer. You can open the boot while it's hitched up as it opens upward.

I have my spare wheel in the boot, which is fine there's still plenty of room for saddles and stuff.

I love mine, it tows brilliantly, I love driving it and wish I could afford to drive it all the time!
