Jeep Recall N46 no longer able to tow

As title really, just wondered if people would be happy to say whether or not their Jeep was now not able to be used for towing . I am also wondering that if there are enough of us we can present a joint case to Fiat/Chrysler to get this fiasco sorted.

I haven't taken mine in and will not do so until I get something by recorded delivery or I hear from my insurance company, I am sadly looking at having to scrap 3k worth of car as it will be of no use to me as I bought it for towing. I will not be able to replace the towing car as will have to save again from scratch so I am getting rid of my trailer too...I would be very happy to join forces with as many as possible to present a case to the numpties at Jeep/Fiat/Chrysler whoever they are and those of us who cannot tow any longer should be able to claim compensation. It is THEIR BAD DESIGN that put us in this position.

Why they cannot make a fit a smaller fuel tank totally beggars belief....
