Jeffries falcon vss saddle

Has anyone got one one of these? and what do you think of it? I have tried one tonight on twig and have fallen in love! Out of all the gp and jumping saddles i've tried on her this fits perfectly! It also fits me being slightly less forward cut than a close contact jumping saddle. Being 5'1 i have to hitch my stirrups up ridiculously to get anywhere near the knee rolls normally! Since we bought her she has had to make do with using georges dressage saddle and she is now at the stage we are introducing a bit of jumping so I need to get one sorted soon!

Only trouble is......the £900 price tag....does anyone know if they come up second hand very often? £900 is more than we paid for twig in the sales! lol

They do come up on ebay sometimes - depends how quickly you need one I guess. About 300 - 400 second hand on ebay. I bought one a couple of months ago for 340. Don't find a lot of diference between it and the Hawk event to be honest though.

I bought one for my girl not so long ago and cannot fault it!!
i find it comfortable, doesn't move and even though it is fairly forward cut is ok to do flat work in. Im am also not so blessed in the height department and i can ride at my normal jumping length and my knees are nicely on the knee rolls.

Not sure about the second hand bit but i paid 850 for mine new.
So all in all it was money well spent!!!
