Does anyone have one? Any opinions would be welcome. I had the saddle fitter out last night (I do know and trust her) and my saddle doesn't fit, which I sort of knew - just not the extent of the poor fit. It's really tight on his shoulders and when I'm on far too low on his wither. It also needs lots of re-flocking at the back as it's not sitting very well but she doesn't know if she could get enough in there. She said she'd be willing to have a go but would need to use a rear riser still.

The alternative and something she thinks would fit him well is a Jeffries Melton? She tried on lots of others last night but didn't actually have one of these so she's coming back tonight. She said it has really deep panels (not sure if that's the technical term) at the back, and open cut back head and drop panels to give really good wither clearance.

Does anyone have one?

i have a jeffries dressage saddle and am full of praise (:
beautiful fit, lightweight and good quality leather,
i can only presume that all their saddles are of the same quality (:

I love them. Just got the new Falcon Hawk Event XP and its excellent quality. Have the same saddle for my other horse and have to say, prefer them to the Albion.

That's really encouraging to read (especially given the price)!

I have googled them but couldn't come up with any negative comments at all! The only thing is the Hawk event seems popular but not the Melton (can't find anything about it at all) but will ask Wendy when I see her later about the differences between the two.

Basil has WB shoulders but TB withers and quite a sway back, which no amount/type of work seems to change.
