Well, the muppet managed to get himself a lift down to Ingliston for clear round last night and he was a star :D

I was terrified he would go back to his old ways, refusing to go near "scary" fences but I needn't have worried - he flew round like he'd never left

We stayed small and he did the 70cms and then the 90cms because it was looking a bit easy after the first round.

He's off to the Grand Slam on saturday (without me - sob :p) so if he jumps the way he did last night, he'll be grand :D

On a separate note, he was a little bugger to clip apparently so please excuse the half job. He tried to squash the poor girls that were trying to do it

Congratulations! It's great when they finally "get it"!!

Is it just the way he is standing or is he resting a front leg? Just something to keep any eye on ;-)

thanks - I think he's gorgeous too but then again, I'm a little bit biased :p
I'm glad he's finally figured out that jumping should be fun. most of the credit has to go to my dad who spent five years trying to encourage him to jump at shows.
I've only had him for just over a year and the difference is amazing :)
I think bringing him back to the uk was the best decision we've made

yep - Even the outside stables are like that. I was gutted when they stopped doing livery but horsey seems to have settled better at the new yard so I guess it was for the best
