Got up this morning not really expecting much improvement tbh, instead discovered a very lively Jerry, stomping around his box like a mad thing!
Vet came out and had another look, decided it was definitely cellulitis and he was obviously feeling better!
The leg is almost back to normal size, still hot but nothing like it was, he is weight bearing and walking almost sound. He has another 8 days of the strong antibiotics and then touch wood he should be fine. Vet said there is no reason why I cannot start riding him in between dressing changes if he will just plod around the lanes, she then looked at him and said that isn't going to happen is it?!
She wanted him to stay in, but he was losing the plot, anyone would think he had been in a week not just 48 hours! So she agreed he could go out for an hour a day if it was dry.
I have just turned him out, do you think he is feeling better?

he is actually going to kill me when I get back on
And calm for a moment...
I cant believe the difference in him, have to say I think those vibes are amazing things, this just isn't the same horse I had yesterday
Thank you so much everyone for all the thoughts and vibes and pms, they all worked!
